CalPPAC
What is CalPPAC and Why Do We Need It?
The California Podiatric Political Action Committee (CalPPAC) is a voluntary, non-profit organization run by doctors of podiatric medicine for the betterment of doctors of podiatric medicine and their patients. CalPPAC supports candidates and legislators who understand, agree with, and support the doctors of the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) on medical, healthcare, and business issues.
Doctors are patients best advocates! Policymakers need to hear from doctors about how medicine should be practice in California now and into the future.CalPPAC makes it possible for doctors of podiatric medicine to be effectively involved in the State Legislature where public policy decisions are made that affect how healthcare is administered and regulated in
By supporting pro-podiatric medicine candidates, CalPPAC makes a strong statement about what issues are important to California's doctors of podiatric medicine.
When you consider the importance of legislators in creating the laws and regulations that govern nearly every aspect of the medical profession and the healthcare delivery system, the importance of electing legislators supportive of podiatric medicine is crystal clear. Shouldn't we all support CalPPAC?
