to Directorship of State Medical Association

 

Jeffrey Haupt, DPM, FACFAS, has been elected as a Director-at-Large to the California Podiatric

 

Medical Association’s (CPMA) Board of Directors during the organization’s 96th Annual House of Delegates, which took place in Anaheim in June.

 

The Immediate Past President of the Orange County Podiatric Medical Society, Dr. Haupt is a board certified foot and ankle specialist in private practice with offices in Anaheim, Newport Beach, and Orange, California.  Haupt is the current Department Chair of the Podiatric Surgery Departments at Anaheim’s Western Medical Center and Costa Mesa’s College Hospital.  His other hospital affiliations include Western Medical Center (Santa Ana), Saint Joseph Hospital (Orange) Children’s Hospital (Orange) and the University of California Irvine Medical Center.

 

A Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), Haupt is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 1990. He received his medical training at the California College of Podiatric Medicine (CCPM), where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree in 1994. He completed his two-year surgical residency at the United Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA in 1996.

 

An accomplished musician, Dr. Haupt enjoys surfing, snowboarding and traveling.  He makes his home in Costa Mesa, California, where he lives with his wife Ngaio and their son Rider and daughter Rio. 

 

The California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) is the professional organization for more than 1000 California doctors of podiatric medicine (DPMs).  Since 1912 CPMA has served the people of California by promoting the science and art of podiatric medicine, protecting the public health, and elevating the standards of medical education.
