Branks Elected to CPMA Board of Directors

 

Diane Branks, DPM, FACFAS, has been elected as a Director-at-Large to the California Podiatric Medical Association’s (CPMA) Board of Directors during the organization’s 96th Annual House of Delegates, which took place in Anaheim in June.

 

Past president of the Southern California Podiatric Medical HMO Society, Dr. Branks is board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABPS) and the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine (ABPOPPM).  A graduate of the University of San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Dr. Branks received her medical training at the California College of Podiatric Medicine (CCPM) in San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree in 1985, and completed her surgical residency the following year at Wadsworth’s VA Medical Center.  Dr. Branks is currently affiliated with Kaiser Hospital, Baldwin Park, California.

 

A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine (ACFAOM) and of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), Diane Branks, DPM, is an author, lecturer, instructor, and the recipient of numerous awards, honors and recognitions, including Kaiser Permanente’s Everyday Heroes, YMCA San Gabriel Valley’s Women of Achievement; Who’s Who in America; Who’s Who of American Women and Kaiser Fontana’s Innovative Award.  Dr. Branks resides in Phillips Ranch, California.

 

The California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) is the professional organization for more than 1000 California doctors of podiatric medicine (DPMs).  Since 1912 CPMA has served the people of California by promoting the science and art of podiatric medicine, protecting the public health, and elevating the standards of medical education.
