Statewide Professional Association Selects South Bay Podiatrist for Board of Directors

Michael Cornelison, DPM, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) during the organization’s 94th

Annual House of Delegates, which took place in Anaheim in June.

Dr. Cornelison is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), after which he attended the Dr. William M. Scholl of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, Summa Cum Laude.  Dr. Cornelison completed his surgical residency at Northern Virginia Podiatric Residency Program at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax Virginia, which was sponsored by the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

 

Chief of the Department of Podiatry at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Dr. Cornelison is in private practice in Cupertino.  He resides in Los Gatos with his wife Nancy and three daughters, Natalie and twins Jacqueline and Haley.

 

The California Podiatric Medical Association includes nearly 1,000 doctors of podiatric medicine throughout the state.
