San Francisco Area Podiatrist Tapped for Directorship of Statewide Professional Association

William Tarran, DPM, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) during the organization’s 94th Annual House of Delegates meeting, which took place in Anaheim in June.

 

Past president of the San Francisco/San Mateo Podiatric Medical Society, Dr. Tarran is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine (ABPOPPM).  He earned his Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University, Washington, D. C., where he was an honor student.  Dr. Tarran received his medical training at San Francisco’s California College of Podiatric Medicine (CCPM), now the California School of Podiatric Medicine (CSPM) at Samuel Merritt College.  After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, he completed his surgical residency training at Frankfort Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Tarran is in private practice in Daly City.  He and his wife Deborah have two sons, Gabriel and Benjamin.

   

The California Podiatric Medical Association includes nearly 1,000 doctors of podiatric medicine throughout the state.
