“It is the mission of the California Podiatric Medical Association to promote, advance and protect the profession of podiatric medicine, to preserve the rights of the patients it serves and to seek continuous improvement in the quality of patient treatment and care.”

Since 1912, the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) has served as a symbol of excellence in the podiatric medical specialty. As California’s “Trusted Source for Podiatric Health Information,” CPMA and its members are dedicated to promoting public health through policy, advocacy, innovation and continuing education.  Through public policy, advocacy, education and other means, CPMA promotes the health of the public, the profession and the individuals it serves.

Located in the state's capital city of Sacramento, California, CPMA is a not-for-profit association committed to representing the podiatric medical profession as a whole and advocating health related rights, responsibilities and issues.  CPMA serves as the voice of the podiatric medical profession in California legislature, committed to programs and activities that promote and maintain high standards in medical education and in the practice of medicine in an effort to help ensure the health and well-being of the people of California. CPMA serves as a valuable resource for consumer information on podiatric medicine, the importance of good foot and ankle health and the availability of quality podiatric medical care.
