The AACPM website provides you with more information on education and careers in podiatric medicine. You can apply online for six of the seven colleges of podiatric medicine or download the application. In addition, you can find answers to frequently asked questions, information regarding financial assistance, and you can learn more about the DPM Mentor Network.

The DPM Mentor Network gives you the ability to contact a podiatric physician in your area to get more information about the profession or to make arrangements to visit the office of a podiatrist. You can choose your state and city and contact the doctor who is the most geographically desirable based on your location. This is an outstanding way to find out if podiatric medicine is the "career that fits your future."

The podiatrists listed on the Network are available for different levels of interaction: from e-mail contacts and shadowing to presentations to students and community gatherings.
