AB 1868 Passes Out of the Senate Health Committee on 8 to 0 Vote

AB 1868 (Gomez, D-Los Angeles), which would reinstate adult podiatric services in Medi-Cal, passed out of its final policy committee, Senate Health, with an 8-0 vote.  The bill now goes to the fiscal committee, Senate Appropriations and will be voted on mid-August.

CPMA will be hard at work in Sacramento the next six weeks working with legislative consultants, staff as well as the Administration to ensure that AB 1868 is included in the list of bills that will move on to the Senate floor for a full vote.
