New Law Requires Mandatory Sexual Harassment Training for All Employees by January 1, 2020

SB 1343
(signed by then Governor Jerry Brown in September 2018) requires California employers of five or more employees (full-time, part-time and contracted) to provide expanded training on sexual harassment prevention to all of their employees by January 1, 2020. This means that employers will need to complete the mandatory training for employees in 2019 to be compliant by the January 1, 2020 deadline.

Attorney C. Keith Geer, Esq. will conduct a 2-hour DFEH (Department of Fair Employment and Housing) compliant program, providing a certificate for office staff, at the 2019 Western Foot and Ankle Conference (The Western) June 20-23, at the Disneyland Hotel and Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Full program and details to come in the 2019 Western registration brochure.
